Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Continuously improve assembly processes to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates.
• Support training of new team members on assembly procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• National Certificate in Electronics Assembly or similar

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in electronics assembly or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
• Aptitude for circuitry and electronics
• Strong problem-solving skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly: Experience in assembling components using surface mount technology.
• Knowledge of IPC assembly standards: Understanding of IPC standards for electronics assembly quality.
