Job Description

The Beater Engineer will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of vital machinery for paper production. This key role involves collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless operation and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain machinery used in the paper manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to optimize machine performance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor machine health and performance metrics.
  • Prepare maintenance schedules and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies.
  • Train staff on safe operation and maintenance of machinery.
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to enhance product quality.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred

  • 5+ years in production engineering
