Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design principles, as well as hands-on experience with engineering projects. You will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and improving various mechanical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to support new designs.
• Optimize existing mechanical systems for better performance.
• Engage in cross-functional teamwork to meet project goals.
• Document all aspects of design and testing for future reference.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collect and analyze data to drive decision-making processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design

Technical Skills

• CAD Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
