Job Description

As a Quarrying Specialist at XYZ Mining Company, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating quarry operations. You will oversee the extraction of raw materials, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage a team of skilled professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Plan daily operations and develop strategies to increase productivity.
  • Ensure the safety of all staff and compliance with health regulations.
  • Monitor production performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Lead training sessions for staff on safety protocols and equipment use.
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations.
  • Review environmental impact assessments and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on production and profitability.
  • Engage with stakeholders and address community concerns regarding operations.

Requirements

Education
  • BSc in Mining Engineering or a related field
  • Professional registration is advantageous

  • Experience with leading a team in a quarrying environment.
