Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Officer to enhance our logistics operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will manage the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely deliveries and optimising warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily logistics process including scheduling, shipping, and receiving.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Develop cost-effective logistics solutions to reduce operational expenses.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to logistics.
  • Analyze data to track performance metrics and improve processes.
  • Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and transport companies.
  • Report on logistics performance and suggest improvements to management.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
Experience
  • 2+ years of practical experience in logistics roles

Languages
