Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Engineer in Durban. The role involves optimising production methods, reducing waste, and increasing productivity. You will work closely with various departments to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies to improve operations and enhance quality.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and propose solutions.
• Engage with suppliers to improve material procurement and inventory management.
• Lead initiatives to implement Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on operational performance.
• Monitor and analyse production data to track progress against objectives.
• Participate in product development teams to enhance manufacturability.
• Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering

Technical Skills

• Process improvement methodologies

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
