Tool and Die Technician

Job Description

As a Tool and Die Technician at Innovative Manufacturing Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining high-quality custom dies and tools used in manufacturing processes. We require a hands-on individual with strong machining background and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance tooling production.
• Maintain accurate records of tooling modifications and repairs.
• Engage in preventive maintenance planning for tooling equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers for sourcing of tooling materials.
• Monitor tooling efficiency and suggest improvements to reduce downtime.
• Provide feedback on tooling design related to manufacturability.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Advanced Certificate in Tool and Die Making Preferred

Experience

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
