Job Description

We are in search of a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of supply chain processes and data analysis, playing a critical role in improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends in supply chain data to improve overall efficiency.
• Engage with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and service levels.
• Evaluate the impact of external factors (e.g., market trends, economic changes) on the supply chain.
• Provide recommendations for risk management within the supply chain.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in supply chain operations

Technical Skills

• Forecasting
• Inventory Management

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in logistics management: Background in managing logistics operations for efficiency.
• Knowledge of international supply chain regulations: Familiar with compliance and regulatory frameworks in global supply chains.
