Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Fundraising Manager to spearhead our fundraising efforts in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful fundraising strategies, building strong relationships with donors, and inspiring support for our mission.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze insurance proposals to determine appropriate coverage.
• Prepare reports detailing underwriting results and strategies.
• Engage in negotiations regarding terms with agents and clients.
• Participate in training and development to enhance underwriting skills.
• Ensure timely issuance of insurance policies.
• Mentor junior underwriters and provide guidance on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting within the insurance industry

• Insurance Regulations
• Policy Evaluation

Certifications

• Fellow of the Insurance Institute (FII)
• Certified Underwriter (CU)

Languages

• English: Fluent
