As an Investment Banker at our Johannesburg office, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the complexities of capital markets. You will analyze financial data, structure investment deals, and negotiate terms to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients. Responsibilities

• Develop investment strategies that align with client goals.
• Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements and market data.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through regular communication.
• Participate in industry events to represent the firm.
• Monitor ongoing investments and report on their performance.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify market positioning.
• Formulate exit strategies for investments when appropriate.
• Assist in training and mentoring new investment banking associates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• Relevant certifications, e.g., CFA, MBA is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in financial advisory roles or investment banking
