UX Designer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented UX Designer to join our creative team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences by designing intuitive and engaging interfaces. Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers.
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure feasibility of designs.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze feedback and usability data.
• Lead design workshops to encourage innovation and creativity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant UX/UI courses or training is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Usability Testing
• Figma & Sketch

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Empathy

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certificate
• UX Design Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with responsive design principles: Ability to create designs that adapt seamlessly across devices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience in working in Agile teams for timely project delivery.
