Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented UX Designer to join our creative team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences by designing intuitive and engaging interfaces. Responsibilities

• Engage with users through surveys and interviews for feedback.
• Create detailed user interface specifications and guidelines.
• Work closely with developers to implement and optimize designs.
• Maintain design documentation to support the development process.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and bring fresh ideas.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and processes for design efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant UX/UI courses or training is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Usability Testing
• Figma & Sketch

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Empathy

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certificate
• UX Design Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with animations in UI design: Ability to enhance user interactions with animations.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of how to create designs that are accessible for all users.
