Job Description

As an Inclusive Education Advisor, you will play a crucial role in transforming educational environments to support learners with diverse needs. Your expertise will guide schools in creating inclusive practices that encourage participation and learning for all.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance the understanding and implementation of inclusive education across various educational settings.
• Create and maintain partnerships with educational institutions and organizations focused on special education.
• Evaluate and report on the educational outcomes of students with special needs to inform policy and practice improvements.
• Facilitate dialogues among stakeholders, including educators, parents, and community members, to promote inclusive practices.
• Assist in the development of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students requiring specialized support.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to educators on adapting teaching methods and materials for inclusivity.
• Contribute to the development of a shared vision for inclusive education within the organization.
• Document processes and outcomes for continuous improvement and accountability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Special Education is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in advocacy for special needs education and inclusion policies
