Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Educational, Guidance, and Career Counselor to provide comprehensive support to students. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of academic pathways and career options, as well as strong communication skills to guide students in making informed decisions about their educational and vocational futures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive career counseling services to help students identify their strengths and weaknesses.
• Assist students in developing personalized educational and career plans.
• Create and maintain partnerships with local businesses for internship and job placement opportunities.
• Conduct outreach activities to promote counseling services to students.
• Prepare students for career fairs and help them practice their recruitment pitches.
• Support students in enhancing their soft skills and professional preparedness.
• Evaluate the efficacy of counseling programs and implement improvements.
• Work closely with families to support student growth and development.
• Lead initiatives that promote mental wellness and academic resilience.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or Social Work
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in academic and career counseling
