Job Description

As a Social Worker at Community Care Solutions, you will provide critical support to individuals and families in Durban. This position involves working closely with clients to understand their challenges and devise strategies that lead to positive outcomes. You will collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and interviews to determine service needs of clients.
  • Develop and implement intervention and treatment plans tailored to individual clients.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to clients facing difficult situations.
  • Collaborate with community resources and organizations to connect clients with necessary services.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and welfare in various settings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Facilitate group sessions focused on skill-building and coping strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a social work setting
