Job Description

We seek a proactive Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will be involved in overseeing and executing civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate project proposals and conduct site evaluations.
  • Implement best practices in construction and design methodologies.
  • Attend project meetings and provide engineering insights.
  • Develop preventive maintenance plans for infrastructure.
  • Prepare contract documents and specifications.
  • Engage with local authorities to ensure project compliance.
  • Support the project manager in achieving project goals.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in civil engineering roles with project management experience
