We are seeking a passionate Renewable Energy Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy systems, project management, and environmental sustainability practices. In this role, you will work closely with clients to implement effective solutions that promote clean energy and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize existing energy systems for efficiency.
• Research emerging renewable technologies and assess their applicability.
• Collect and analyze data to support sustainability assessments.
• Participate in public consultations and outreach programs.
• Provide technical expertise to clients regarding energy solutions.
• Document and share best practices within the consultancy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Renewable Energy
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in energy consultancy or sustainability

Certifications

• Certified Renewable Energy Professional (CREP)
• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
