• Lead the operation of silo equipment and manage day-to-day activities.
• Conduct quality checks on stored products and maintain cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot any operational issues with machinery and equipment.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on silo operations.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate product shipment.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding safety.

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Basic computer skills Able to operate basic computer systems and logging software.
• Understanding of silo equipment Knowledge of silo operations and machinery.
• Mechanical systems knowledge Familiar with mechanical systems related to silos and grain handling.
• Excellent communication skills Effective verbal and written communication with team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Attention to detail Meticulous in monitoring operations and maintaining records.
• Good organizational skills Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure Capable of maintaining quality performance in high-pressure situations.
• English (Fluent)

• Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems: Ability to navigate and utilize inventory management software.
• Knowledge of grain quality standards: Understanding of the standards for different types of grains.
