Job Description

Join our team as a Nut Sorter, where you'll be responsible for sorting and grading nuts according to size, colour, and quality. The ideal candidate will work efficiently to ensure our products meet top-notch standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and grade nuts for quality assurance.
• Ensure effective utilization of sorting machinery.
• Assist in training new sorting staff on best practices.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts of sorted nuts.
• Document data related to sorting and defects.
• Support production team in optimizing sorting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in nut processing or sorting preferred

Technical Skills

• Sorting machinery operation
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Advantageous

• Experience with nut processing or sorting machinery: Hands-on experience in operating nut sorting machines preferred.
