Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide high-quality technical support and assistance to our clients in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT systems and troubleshooting skills, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with various teams to enhance our support processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to user support requests and provide timely resolutions.
• Identify recurring problems and suggest solutions to prevent future occurrences.
• Maintain documentation of IT procedures and protocols.
• Assist in the development of IT training materials for users.
• Ensure that all IT equipment is up to date with the latest software and security patches.
• Work with vendors to resolve technical issues and escalate as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Bachelor’s degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in IT support

• Mac OS
• Remote Support Tools

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Languages

• English: Fluent
