Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design innovative buildings that are functional and aesthetic.
• Collaborate on sustainability initiatives to enhance environmental performance of projects.
• Utilize project management tools to track milestones and deliverables.
• Review project designs for compliance with safety standards.
• Create visually appealing presentations for stakeholder engagement.
• Lead design workshops to collect feedback and iterate on ideas.
• Work closely with local councils to ensure plan approval.
• Manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
• Master’s degree in Environmental Design is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on sustainability

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• Design Software

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Team Management

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Green Building Council of South Africa accreditation

Languages

• Afrikaans: Good
• English: Fluent
