Job Description

As a Hoist and Winch Operator, you will be responsible for operating skip hoist equipment to efficiently transport materials and products across various levels of construction sites. We seek candidates with a strong adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work in a team, ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and effective operation of hoisting equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on machinery.
• Maintain clear communication with the site manager and team.
• Follow all health and safety protocols in the working environment.
• Document daily activities and equipment status accurately.
• Collaborate with crew members to enhance workflow.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials at heights.
• Adapt to changing site conditions and requirements.
• Provide support to other operators and crew as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Valid skip hoist operator license or certification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating hoist equipment in construction or manufacturing
