Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll manage various civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You'll work closely with architects and contractors to design and implement efficient and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engineering solutions for infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Assess environmental impact and incorporate sustainable practices.
  • Lead site meetings and liaise with all project participants.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation and reports.
  • Conduct training for site staff on safety and engineering best practices.
  • Analyze survey and environmental data to inform design decisions.
  • Manage project changes and negotiate with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the field
