We are seeking a highly motivated Chemicals Process Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles, with a focus on process design, optimization, and safety regulations. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance chemical processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization projects for specific chemical production lines.
• Execute process simulations and modeling.
• Support the commissioning and start-up of new plants and processes.
• Ensure that all processes meet environmental compliance standards.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in chemical engineering.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Engineering license is highly regarded

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment

Languages
