Job Description

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician who will be responsible for providing first-level support to users and maintaining IT equipment at our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will help streamline processes and enhance productivity by ensuring that all systems are running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and implement state-of-the-art algorithms for various applications.
• Conduct peer reviews of research or projects for quality assurance.
• Mentor junior researchers and provide guidance on best practices in AI research.
• Collaborate with external research institutions to broaden our research horizons.
• Document research processes and results for future reference and reproducibility.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics)
• PhD in AI or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI-driven projects
