Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist in our Sandton office, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological services to our diverse client base. Your expertise will shape treatment strategies and enhance the mental health of individuals, supporting therapeutic progress in a compassionate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological evaluations using standardized assessment tools.
  • Design and implement therapeutic strategies that address client needs.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
  • Engage clients and their families in therapy and education about mental health.
  • Participate in case consultations with other healthcare professionals.
  • Lead support groups for clients with topics relevant to their conditions.
  • Research and stay updated with the latest psychological practices and interventions.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness within the community.
  • Build rapport with clients to foster a safe therapeutic environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role is preferred.

  • Advanced training in Trauma-Informed Care: Knowledge and practice in trauma-informed care is a plus.
