Job Description

As a Pharmacist at our Durban location, you will ensure the quality and safety of medications while counseling patients on proper medication use. This role involves collaborating with healthcare providers and contributing to the overall wellness of our community.

Responsibilities

• Review prescription orders and provide professional recommendations.
• Conduct medication reviews for chronic disease patients.
• Advise on lifestyle changes and supplements that support health.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all federal and provincial regulations.
• Assist in the development of pharmacy services/programs.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Participate in patient support programs and workshops.
• Utilize pharmacy technology to enhance service efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of pharmacy experience with a focus on patient care

Languages
