Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Mental Health Counsellor to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the health status of animals and conduct tests.
• Perform routine and complex surgical procedures.
• Educate clients on animal nutrition and wellness.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold clinic policies.
• Actively participate in training and mentoring junior staff.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with veterinary practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Specialization in Animal Surgery preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in a clinical setting
