Job Description

Join our team as a Supply Chain Coordinator and be at the forefront of logistics management in Durban. You’ll work closely with supply chain team members to optimize inventory levels, track shipments, and resolve any issues that may arise. This position is integral to manufacturing and distribution operations, where your analytical skills will identify areas for improvement and contribute to the overall success of our supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
• Optimize shipping routes and transportation costs.
• Research and evaluate suppliers for potential partnerships.
• Maintain documentation of inventory and shipping logs.
• Assist in forecasting demand and managing supply chain risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders for shipment tracking.
• Schedule regular assessments of supply chain performance metrics.
• Support sustainable practices in logistics and supply chain activities.
• Train and mentor junior supply chain staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination
