Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in Cape Town, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.

Responsibilities

  • Implement patient care plans developed in coordination with physicians.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
  • Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with additional healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings for patient management.
  • Conduct routine checks on medical equipment and supplies.
  • Provide palliative care as required to support patient comfort.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Be an advocate for patient rights and comfort.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Nurs)
  • Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in nursing, healthcare setting preferred.
