Responsibilities

• Evaluate animal health through physical exams and lab tests.
• Treat a variety of species including pets and exotic animals.
• Implement preventative healthcare initiatives.
• Document patient history and treatment plans accurately.
• Oversee the work of veterinary technicians.
• Respond to emergency cases with urgency and care.
• Foster a caring and compassionate environment for patients and clients.
• Engage in continuous education and skill development.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery or internal medicine is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of veterinary experience preferred

• Diagnostic imaging

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Certification
