We are on the lookout for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our postsecondary education team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting lead teachers, assisting with lesson planning, and providing individualized attention to students. Responsibilities

• Work closely with teachers to coordinate classroom activities.
• Support the delivery of curriculum and assist with instructional materials.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive environment for student learning.
• Supervise students during group activities and assist with classroom transitions.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with assessment grading.
• Liaise with parents and caregivers regarding student welfare.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to improve educational practices.
• Assist in special projects and events hosted by the school.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma required
• Degree in Education or relevant field preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a teaching assistant role is highly advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
