Crusher Operator

Job Description

As a Crusher Operator, you will play a vital role in our mining operations by operating machinery that crushes a variety of materials. You will ensure the equipment runs smoothly while adhering to strict safety protocols and quality control measures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various crushing machines such as jaw and cone crushers.
• Conduct routine checks on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
• Document production output and machine performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to meet product specifications.
• Assist in performing maintenance tasks such as lubrication and repairs.
• Report defective equipment and safety hazards promptly.
• Follow all safety guidelines to avoid accidents and maintain a clean site.
• Be prepared to work overtime during peak production periods.
• Engage in team discussions to improve operational efficiency.
• Support training of new staff on operational procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in machine operation preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in the mining or construction industry preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Competence in basic maintenance tools

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently
• Problem-solving skills
