We are looking for an enthusiastic Pet Groomer to provide exceptional grooming services in our Johannesburg salon. The ideal candidate will have experience with different grooming styles and be able to work with various breeds. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional grooming services that meet client expectations.
• Educate pet owners on grooming needs and pet hygiene.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy hours.

• Participate in grooming competitions and showcase skills.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pet grooming certification or diploma is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a grooming salon

Technical Skills

• Grooming tools and equipment
• Health and safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Empathy towards pets

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Participation in grooming competitions: Experience or awards in grooming contests is an advantage.
• Knowledge of pet nutrition: Understanding of dietary needs that contribute to pet health and grooming.
