Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Public Health Officer who is dedicated to enhancing the health standards of communities in Durban. In this role, you will focus on developing and executing public health initiatives, addressing health disparities, and conducting community assessments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute disease prevention programs.

• Analyze health data to inform decisions and strategies.
• Address health disparities through targeted interventions.
• Draft reports and presentations for public health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in public health or related field

Certifications

• Certified Public Health (CPH)
• First Aid and CPR certified

• English: Fluent
