Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients with physical conditions through clinical examination.
• Design and implement individualised treatment plans to enhance recovery.
• Use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise therapy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programs as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and certification opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a physiotherapy role

Technical Skills

• Manual therapy techniques
• Exercise therapy prescription

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

• Experience in sports rehabilitation: Knowledgeable in developing treatments for athletic injuries.
