Looking for an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This position involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions in animals. You will work closely with our veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the treatment and care of hospitalized animals.
• Perform routine surgeries and emergency procedures.
• Educate clients about pet health and preventive measures.
• Work with a team of veterinarians and support staff to deliver care.
• Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately.
• Implement and monitor anesthesia protocols and pain management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
• Post-graduate qualifications in a specialized area of veterinary medicine is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in General Surgery and Veterinary Medicine
