Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will provide therapy, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of our clients. This role is crucial in promoting mental wellness and improving the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological tests and interpret results.
• Support clients through crisis intervention as needed.
• Facilitate workshops and group sessions.
• Collaborate with social workers and healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in practice.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD or PhD)
• Registered with HPCSA

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience preferred

Certifications

• Advanced Psychological First Aid Certification
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
