Bookkeeper

Job Description

As a Bookkeeper at Professional Account Services, you will manage financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with local regulations. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers to join our team and help us provide top-notch bookkeeping services to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable timely.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other necessary tax filings.
• Provide support during audits by gathering necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and initiatives.
• Monitor cash flow and recommend improvements where necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Accounting Degree or Diploma

Experience

• 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience preferred

Certifications

• QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification
