Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will conduct assessments, provide individual and group therapy, and contribute to treatment planning. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions using professional methods.
• Design treatment interventions to improve client outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
• Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and treatment strategies.
• Record and report patient progress according to company protocols.
• Participate in research and community outreach initiatives related to mental health.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or equivalent
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of supervised clinical experience
