Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. This includes coordinating transportation, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations and monitor performance metrics.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipments and deliveries.
• Maintain records of logistics activities and produce reports as needed.
• Communicate with vendors to optimise supply chain processes.
• Participate in logistics planning and strategy development.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities within logistics operations.
• Train and supervise logistics staff to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a logistics coordinator role

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Freight Regulations

Languages

• English: Fluent
