Job Description

As a Speck Dyer, you will be responsible for dyeing and coloring a variety of fabrics through various techniques and procedures. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure adherence to specifications and standards, along with collaboration with the production team to enhance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dye solutions by measuring and mixing accurate dye components.
• Monitor the dyeing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections on finished dyed goods.
• Maintain dyeing machines and perform regular safety checks.
• Assist in maintaining inventory for dyes and chemicals.
• Document all activities and results in the production system.
• Work closely with other team members to improve workflow efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dyeing area.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements for operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Relevant diploma in Textile Manufacturing or Dyeing preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in textile dyeing or production
