We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Bloemfontein. This role involves assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our patients. Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications.
• Keeping track of medication inventory and ensuring timely restocking.
• Offering support to customers with inquiries regarding medications.
• Preparing compounded prescriptions as needed.
• Upholding pharmacy standards in patient safety and care.
• Managing patient medication profiles and updating records.
• Liaising with doctors and healthcare providers regarding medication therapies.
• Engaging in health and wellness initiatives within the community.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Pharmacy
• Experience with health insurance processes is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in a pharmacy or healthcare environment

Technical Skills

• Pharmacy Software Knowledge
• Inventory Control

• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Proficient

Advantageous

• Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM): Certification in strategies for managing patient medication therapies.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with a broader patient base.
