Job Description

As a Project Manager based in Johannesburg, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously. We're looking for an individual who can establish project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. This position requires excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that resource availability and allocation are efficient.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with project team and clients.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in project management
