Join our Cape Town office as a Mechanical Engineer, where you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge mechanical designs and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine 3D models and drawings using CAD software.
• Evaluate the performance of mechanical systems and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality standards.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Remain up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Document all design processes and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced degrees preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in related mechanical engineering roles
