Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Cape Town team. You'll play a pivotal role in automating our infrastructure and processes, ensuring that our development and operations teams collaborate efficiently. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CI/CD tools, cloud platforms, and scripting languages to streamline workflows and improve system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable applications on cloud platforms.
• Enhance existing deployment processes for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with security teams to improve infrastructure security.
• Perform regular system backups and data recovery tests.
• Research and integrate new tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead DevOps initiatives across teams to foster a culture of collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
• Master's degree in IT Management or relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SysAdmin role
