We are seeking a dedicated Network Security Specialist to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing network security measures to protect against data breaches and attacks. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to work collaboratively to safeguard our organization’s vital information.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of network systems by implementing security best practices.
• Monitor threat intelligence sources to mitigate risks.
• Provide support during security audits.
• Conduct training for employees on security awareness.
• Evaluate new security tools and recommend improvements.
• Work with management to develop security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in network security

• Network Design

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
