Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous monitoring of the security landscape for vulnerabilities.
  • Review and analyze incoming security alerts, triaging them appropriately.
  • Advise on best security practices for technology projects.
  • Regularly perform security assessments and audits.
  • Work with stakeholders to remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Build strong relationships with IT and engineering departments.
  • Assist in improving threat detection capabilities.
  • Prepare post-incident reports and recommendations.
  • Compile data for metrics on security incidents and threats.
  • Provide thought leadership within the organization for security initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • CISSP, CISM certification preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity operations
