Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and be passionate about working on exciting infrastructure projects that contribute to the community.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative civil structures and infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct analysis and simulations to evaluate project feasibility.
• Prepare technical specifications and contract documents.
• Engage with government agencies and other stakeholders on project approvals.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
• Lead safety meetings and quality assurance processes on-site.
• Review construction methods and ensure compliance with standards.
• Assess environmental impact and incorporate sustainable practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Provide on-site leadership during construction phases.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous
• Project Management certification is a plus

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in civil engineering

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
