Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animal patients, performing surgeries, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing treatments tailored to each animal's needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the treatment of patients from diagnosis to post-operative care.
• Consult with pet owners to discuss treatment options and preventive health measures.
• Supervise junior veterinary staff and provide mentorship.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Participate in community outreach and education programs.
• Develop and implement protocols to enhance patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian
