Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance of mechanical components in production machinery.
• Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts procurement.
• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring mechanical issues.
• Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance.
• Actively contribute to a culture of safety and quality.
• Support the development of maintenance schedules.

Requirements

Education

• N1 or N2 Mechanical Engineering
• Higher qualifications in Engineering will be an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
